Do I have to be in shape to start?
Our silliest, but most frequent question. And the answer is.. NO! You absolutely do not have to be "in shape" before starting functional fitness. That's the whole point of coming to us! You wouldn't wash your car before going to a carwash, would you?
I have an injury (old or present), is this going to be too hard on it?
Nope. One of the main purposes of functional fitness is to help strengthen that injury and prevent new ones from occurring. It's very common for your body to compensate for an injury, which often can result in more issues. Another common thing is for people to stop moving all together because of an injury, which is the worst thing you could do! A body in rest, stays at rest. We want to focus on strength and mobility (scaled to fit your needs) so neither of those things happen.
I'm not an "athlete", am I going to look out of place?
You don't have to be an elite athlete to feel included at Rebels. We're all about community here, and that involves support and encouragement, not judgement.
How many days a week should I come?
We recommend a minimum of 3 days a week, but most of our athletes end up coming more because they can't get enough of us. However, any time in the gym is better than none, so come when you can!
